Unexpected connections
Hi everyone! Wishing you all a happy new month—I'm thrilled to have you here today!
A few years ago, I came across a lady on social media. Her content instantly caught my attention—she shared such inspiring posts on her Instagram page. After some time, I found out that she worked at the same place as my younger brother. One day, she posted a video of herself singing with someone . From her post she said people love the song and they want her to do a studio version unfortunately someone sponsored the studio session on her birthday and they later recorded the song in a studio, and I was so taken by it that it quickly became one of my top tracks at the time. It was always on repeat and people request the name of the artist so I sent the song to them to listen to it .
Fast forward to this year, I had an intriguing experience by the lagoon. I heard a captivating trumpet melody and followed the sound. I ended up chatting with the trumpet player and saved his contact under "Trumpet Guy at the Lagoon," since I didn’t catch his name.
Recently, I was blown away to discover that this "Trumpet Guy" was actually the same singer who featured in that song I loved so much! It was a fantastic reminder of how small the world is and how interconnected our lives can be.
It’s easy to think our actions go unnoticed, that we’re just another face in the crowd. But people are always watching—sometimes from afar, sometimes up close. The way we live our lives can leave a lasting impression, even if we don’t realize it.
If the lady or the trumpet player had acted in ways that didn’t align with my values, it would have changed how I viewed them. This experience made me reflect on the impact our actions have on those around us, even on people we may never meet.
So, here’s my advice: Don’t live recklessly just because you think no one is watching. You never know who might be observing you from a distance and who might cross your path someday. When that happens, what do you want them to say about you? What legacy do you want to leave?
Aim to create a positive impact. There might be people looking up to you, drawing inspiration from your actions, even if you’re unaware of it. If you live with purpose and stay true to your values, those who look up to you will be inspired to rise with you. But if you falter, they might too.
Remember, your life extends beyond just yourself; it influences others. Live with integrity, make uplifting choices, and be the reason someone else believes in a better future. By living purposefully and with awareness, you uplift not just yourself, but also those quietly watching and following your lead.
And don’t forget about your online presence. Social media can be a powerful tool. How you present yourself online can shape how people see and engage with you. Your digital presence is like a CV, showcasing who you are to the world.
The good news is, a CV isn’t just for job applications. It’s also essential for scholarships, grants, fellowships, and other life-changing opportunities. So, make sure your online presence reflects your best self and opens doors to incredible possibilities.
